Holiday Schedule
| | Borough Offices will be closed on Monday, December 25th and Tuesday, December 26th. Offices will also be closed on Monday, January 1st.
The Borough Council's reorganization meeting will take place the the Mendham Borough Firehouse at 1:00 PM on Monday January 1st. The next regular council meeting will take place on Monday, January 15th, 8:00 PM in the Garabrant Center |

| PET LICENSE RENEWAL | | It’s that time of year to renew your pet’s license. You have from January 1, 2007 to February 1, 2007 to renew your pet without a $10.00 late fee. After February 1st a $10.00 late fee per pet will be charged. Please remember to have your updated rabies information at time of renewal. New pets being licensed for the first time are not subject to the late fee. Also remember that the Borough licenses both dogs and cats. | | Deer Management Activities | |
As in past years the Borough will be resuming deer management activities at
selected public properties. This year the program will be coordinated by
Patrolman Christopher Hopf of the Mendham Borough Police Department. Volunteer
deer management agents will be utilizing bow and arrow to cull the deer
population in the Borough. Agents will be utilizing tree stands and bait
stations to minimize contact with the public. All parks will remain open
during deer management activities. All agents will be required to carry
identification cards as will have identification on their vehicles.
Additionally, signage identifying deer management areas will be posted and
notification signs will be erected at the entrance of public properties.

management volunteers, or if you have questions regarding the program you may

| Underage Drinking on Public Property | | 
Recently the Borough Council adopted an ordinance regarding underage drinking
of alcoholic beverages on private property. Ordinance #2-06 prohibits
underage drinking on private property without parental or legal guardian
presence and consent. The ordinance is directed towards house parties that
occur when parents of guardians are away. Several other municipalities have
adopted similar laws with great success.
The ordinance does make allowances for minors to consume alcohol for
religious ceremonies or while studying culinary arts. A copy of the ordinance
